How It Works…

It’s Simple! Earn points by engaging with the child or children in your life who participates in the Head Start & Early Head Start programs, The contest ends on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 5:00pm. You can win $250 and other awesome prizes! Win in two different ways.

1. FIRST CHANCE TO WIN: You can win (First, Second, or Third Place) by gaining the most points.
2. SECOND CHANCE TO WIN: You can win by winning the brackets in the group Final Four Challenge.

Getting Started:

1. Register for the MDC by filling out the form below. (100 points.
2. Registration for our bracket by clicking HERE.

Sign Up! Get 200 points combined.

Attend a Virtual Event!

(25 points for each activity)

• Attend Man II Man Meetings/Events and
• Parent Online Meetings/Workshops
• March Policy Council Meeting

Submit Pictures or Video! (10 points for each activity)

Be creative and engage! Here are some examples of engaging activities. Try one of these or create your own.

• Do an activity of your choice with your child(ren).
• Hula Hoop Challenge: Get caught on camera hula hooping with your child or children.
• Walking Challenge: Count steps per week. Set a goal for the number of steps for the week.
• Tuck them in at night, have a family dinner, play games, walk the dog, etc.
• Drop Everything And Read (D.E.A.R)- # of books read to/with your child or children.
• Take a picture of you watching a sports game with your child.
• Do an art project together.
• Design your own family or classroom mascots then submit your work
• Create a structure built of cardboard boxes with your child or children.
• Anything you can think of, dream of, or desire.

After you Register

• After we receive your registration, you’ll receive a welcome message.
• Every day, for the duration of the program, you’ll receive a motivational message, along with everyone in the challenge.
• Send your pics or video to Cameron Marshall so that you can get your points added to the leaderboard.
• Check out the Facebook and Instagram page to see your pics and videos. (SECRET BONUS POINTS: If you share, comment or tag yourself in a post, you’ll receive another 15 points for each share/tag/comment.)
• Check back on the website often to see who your competition is.
