Week 2: Social & Emotional Development
- Monday, March 7 | Talk about managing emotions with your child.
- Tuesday, March 8 | Create a Goal with your child for their overall development.
- Wednesday, March 9 | Create a peace place where the child can go if feeling up or someone hurts their feelings.
- Thursday, March 10 | “Take a break with Dad”: Enjoy time alone or with your child and relax!
- Friday, March 11 | Fun Friday: Pick your favorite team and submit March Madness Bracket.
Week 3: Speech & Language Development
- Monday, March 14 | Telephone MIIM: Have a play phone conversation with your child.
- Tuesday, March 15 | “Name the thing”: Have child identify items around house/neighborhood.
- Wednesday, March 16 | Read with your child for 20-25 mins.
- Thursday, March 17 | Write a letter, draw a picture, or take a picture with your child sharing a memory.
- Friday, March 18 | Fun Friday: Watch a march madness game with your child.
Week 4: Fine Motor Skill Development
- Monday, March 21 | Practice writing/saying name with your child.
- Tuesday, March 22 | Practice painting shapes with your child.
- Wednesday, March 23 | *Attended Male Engagement MIIM Meeting.*
- Thursday, March 24 | Create nutritious meal with your child and share.
- Friday, March 25 | Fun Friday: Create a 3D object out of household items.
Week 5: Gross Motor Skills Development
- Monday, March 28 | Do a small at home workout with your child.
- Tuesday, March 29 | Play “Simon Says” with your child.
- Wednesday, March 30 | **“Daddy Pick up Day”: Male figures Pick up children from school. **
- Thursday, March 31 | Madness Break: Submit all photos and enjoy the weekend.
