KidSCope

Our Mission

KidSCope is dedicated to delivering holistic developmental and mental health support for young children, their families, and caregivers. We are committed to utilizing research and evidence-based practices to empower children with a strong foundation during the crucial early years, where relationships and experiences play a pivotal role in shaping their future life success.

Our History

Established in 1988 with a primary focus on offering support to young children and their families, KidSCope has been dedicated to delivering social-emotional and mental health services for the youngest members of our community. Our history encompasses classroom consultations for at-risk young children, evidence-based parenting education, and the provision of essential resources related to health and child development for both families and caregivers of young children.

Our Programs

Assuring Better Child Health and Development (ABCD) is a proven, universal approach to screening young children in health care settings. ABCD works to increase health and developmental screening and referral rates for all young children by integrating routine screenings into well-child visits.

KidSCope's ABCD program provides support to pediatric medical practices by offering education, technical assistance, and early intervention consultation to providers.

Mental health consultation is one of KidSCope's specialized programs that provides socio-emotional support to children aged birth to 5 within the classroom setting in childcare centers.

Our mental health consultants are trained to address the needs of each individual child by working with childcare providers and families to create success strategies in the classroom.
